Sports Photography Pricing

I am a HUGE sports fan. I grew up playing sports, begged my mom to play tackle football, and finally settled for soccer. I played competitive soccer for several years, including high school (Go Hawks!).

Aside from winning a state championship (sigh), the only thing missing from my soccer career was great pictures.

So 5 years ago, after attending countless sporting events for nephews and friends, I found myself lamenting over the fact that I had very little to look back on of my own sporting career (or proof I could someday show my kids that there was a time when their mom could bring it!). So I set out to try to prevent others from letting their glory days go by unrecorded, unpreserved, and decided to start a photography business focusing on capturing the ACTION.

If there's something you and your kids will treasure after all the practices, games, cheers (and tears) have come to an end, it will be the pictures.

So here's what I do. I'll come to the games, take as many action shots as I can, put them on a disc and you get to keep them.

What you get:

**one high resolution disc with the digital negatives
**30-40 action shots of your kid. Some candid team photos and group shots. And a few close-up head shots.
**post-processed profesionally edited photos
**all pictures on the disc will be in color AND black and white
**ONE 11x14 poster (example to follow) OR FOUR 8x10 professional quality prints

The 11x14 poster is a collage of pictures of your kid. It is mounted on matboard, ready for framing, or to put on a shelf or easel. The kids LOVE these.

Here's an example:

I am currently designing new posters for this sports season and will have examples posted in a few weeks.

So why hire me?

**The most obvious--you'll never regret having too many pictures!
**You'll be free to sit back and enjoy the game or pace the sidelines screaming at the officials (if you're one of the more "passionate" parents). Regardless of your intensity level, you won't have to worry yourself with taking the perfect shot of that diving catch, shoe-string tackle, or last-second three-pointer. . .because I'll be all over it.

**I know sports and know the rules, which is fundamental to being a good sports photographer. I know what to look for and can anticipate where the key plays, the big moments will unfold. It's in these moments that you capture the emotion of the game.
**The more kids who sign up from one team, the more games I attend. The more games I come to, the more pictures you get, and the better chance I'll have at being at that one game where your kid scores the goal, gets the big hit, or makes the game-changing play.
**You get the high-resolution disc with a print authorization to make as many prints as you want for as many people as you want! Huge value here. (it's usually hundreds of dollars to get the high-res disc)
**The posters (or prints) included in the package make great christmas or birthday gifts for your son or daughter, grandma and grandpa, or to send as a memento to the parents of the poor kid your little bruiser whooped on. Up to you!

So how much will you have to shell out, you're wondering?
The price: $110. That's it. A one time fee. And you get the disc (which will have at least 30-40 pictures-sometimes more), the print authorization to make as many prints as you want, AND the 11x14 poster or 8x10 prints.

"I want to sign up, what do I do now?"

**E-mail me and let me know you're interested.
**Send me a schedule for your child's games which includes dates, times, and address's (IMPORTANT!).
**Any contact information you can provide (preferably email addresses) for other players on your team will help me determine which other players/parents are interested. The more kids who sign up, the more games I attend! And, if you provide a roster I don't already have, and enough kids sign up, I'll hook you up with some free stuff!

Questions or concerns? E-mail me at lindsayrossphotography@yahoo.com or call me at 801.631.6534 and we'll chat. (No pressure or obligation)

I photograph ALL sports. Football, baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, gymnastics, hockey, tennis, fencing, or chess (but that's extra $$). . . Little league, rec, high school or college. You name it, I'll be there.

So what if I want you to come to Randolph or Vernal? What if I want to take my own photos, but just want your camera as a back-up and your company first and foremost. Go Ravens!! (3A sucks) Can I say that?
